Is Miwa HIPAA compliant?+
Yes. Miwa is HIPAA compliant for covered clinical work: PHI is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is scoped per clinician with audit logging, and every vendor that processes PHI does so under a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA). Clinical data is never used to train AI models.
Is Miwa my EHR, or does it work alongside one?+
Either way. For licensed solo practitioners, Miwa can be your full EHR: charts, notes, scheduling, telehealth, client billing, superbills, and real-time insurance eligibility with electronic claims submission. Trainees and associates usually keep their agency or site EHR and run Miwa alongside it as the AI clinical assistant. Either way, Miwa is the operating system that runs the rest of the practice: finances, supervision, hours, exam prep, front-desk, and workflows.
Who qualifies for pre-licensed pricing?+
Trainee pricing is for practicum interns and MFT trainees at $39/mo. Associate pricing is for AMFT, ACSW, APCC, and similar registered associates at $79/mo. When you get your full license, you can upgrade to Licensed Therapist.
What assessments are supported?+
PHQ-9, GAD-7, PCL-5, and C-SSRS plus a growing library can be completed through secure links, scored automatically, and tracked over time.
Can I use Miwa on mobile?+
